Materials: Copper Tubing: The designation is alloy UNS 12200 and referred to as DHP. The DHP stands for a phosphorus deoxidized copper with a high residual phosphorus range of .015% to .040%. The copper content is 99.9% copper. The copper tubing is produced in compliance with specification ASTM B 280-98 as defined for the field installation of air conditioning and refrigeration service tube. The tubing is fully annealed to the soft temper designation of 060. Insulation: The insulation is a flexible, closed cell and lightweight elastomeric material designed for insulating cooling and heating lines. The insulation is produced in compliance with specification ASTM C 534-88. The service temperature range is from -70F to 257F. The insulation has a thermal conductivity K value of .25 at the mean temperature of 75F in accordance with test method ASTM C 177. The insulation is weather and ultraviolet resistant.
